Dear OpenFoamers,
I am running a mixer vessel case with water as continuous phase and air bubbles entering it as particles. I defined a MRF region around the impeller to account for the rotation of the impeller. But the effects of MRF rotation is not showing in liquid phase (ex: U.water plots). Does denseParticleFoam only solves the motion of particles and does not consider the rotation effects on liquid? Thanks for the response in advance. |

Hi Shaik,
Did you find an answer to this? I am trying something similar and I also have the feeling that the rotation is not handled. Did you find any solution? I really want to avoid using mesh motion to solve for the rotation. Thanks, Thomas |
