Dear all,
I am going to use Adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) under the partial slip condition in OpenFOAM-v2006. In AMR, the grid size will be changed, i.e. refined or unrefined during the simulation. However, the slip length is influenced by the size of the grid adjacent to the wall in the partial slip condition (please see the attachment). Therefore, when the grid adjacent to the wall is refined, the slip length may be changed too. My question is if the slip length varies when using AMR? If the answer is yes, is there a way to fix the slip length when using AMR? Thanks! Kind regards. Zhao |
