Hi everybody,
I have a problem with chemical reactions in dsmcFoam+. I am currently using HyStrath dsmcFoam+. My specific case is a hypersonic wedge problem with air chemically reacting with itself. I will share my case in attachments. Technically, it is working fine. Case is running without technical problems. On the other hand, chemical reactions are not working as they are intended. I validated the solver's chemical reaction capabilities using Scanlon's 2015 paper (Scanlon, White, Borg, Palharini et al., 2015). In the validation case, results are coming as expected the way which they've been described in the paper. However, in my case there is no product NO and exchange reactions. Also there are suspiciously low dissociation reactions for 30000 K. My initial conditions are 5 Mach velocity, 1.4 specific heat constant, 30000 K initial temperature, 0.1 Knudsen Number. |

Update for people who might be dealing with dsmcFoam+ as well. I kinda solved the problem with changing my characteristic geometry size from 0.54 m to 0.00054 m. And also I updated time step in order to not violate CFL condition as well.
