Hi, everyone. My question is basically 'Using a finer mesh resulted in a different result'.
I tried to change the resolution of mesh in the tutorial case Channel395 (pimpleFoam/LES). To be specific, I doubled the number of cell in y direction (normal to wall). After doing this, the turbulence in result disappear, the whole flow field became laminar. Is this reasonable? And does a finer mesh always mean a more accurate result? |
