Dear All,
I am currently trying to simulate the case of an extruded airfoil at very high AoA (16 degrees) at a Reynolds number of 3 million. I am running a pimpleFoam simulation (URANS). Please find attached, the fvSolution, fvSchemes, and the controlDict files for your reference. I start the simulation with an automatic time-stepping condition with a maxCo of 10 and gradually increase it to 250 as a CFL of 10 makes the time step very small. It is not feasible to simulate on a 10 mil Hex cells mesh with such small time steps for long. I have also attached an image with my residuals and forces. Can you please help me modify my setup to achieve more accurate results in optimum time? Thank you! |
