Hi all,
I am new to OpenFOAM, after executing tutorial simulations and google, I managed to get my model run. However, I suspect if I did it correctly because I notice some strange behavior at the outlet. I appreciate for your comments and inputs. Case overview: - simplified to 2D - a rectangular container (ca. 10 m long & 2 m high), whose shell temperature is constant as the Tamb, assumed to be 295K - one inlet on the lower left side - out outlet on the upper left side - inside I made some blocks (no heat source/sink, simply walls) - inlet velocity 1 m/s - initial inner air temp 275K - solver: buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam I made an overview for the BCs I made: case overview - BC.jpg At t = 100, UT100.jpg Notice the fluid close to upper outlet has high velocity At t = 1000 UT1000.jpg It seems to smooth out I suspect I just manage to get the code run, however, the model doesn't provide true results, problems might be in the BC settings... I'd like to hear your opinions. Thank you in advance! - |
