Hi,


I am trying to simulate high-speed flow on compressor blade(compressible case), i made the mesh using Ansys ICEM and coverted in to openFOAM readable format.


when i do "checkMesh" i get 1 nonOrthoFace on the blade (Picture 1) ,then after i run "renumberMesh -overwrite" i get 9442 nonOrthoFaces (Picture 2).



(i chose y+ as 5 because when i use y+ as 1 nonOrthoFaces are way too high on the blade)



Regarding this issues,


1) What is actually renumberMesh do

2) Will my results get affected if run the simulation without "renumberMesh -overwrite"
