pressure high at inlet around edges

Hi folks,

I am using simplefoam to simualte a valve. The velocity is 0.1 m/s and I am trying to visualize the flow. While doing that i was looking at pressure contour and found that the pressure at the edges at inlet are higher.

What might be the problem?
