Hi everybody, I'm trying to replicate, in OpenFOAM, a case in the paper "A low-dissipative solver for turbulent compressible flows on unstructured meshes, with OpenFOAM implementation" by Davide Modesti and Sergio Pirozzoli. Anyway I attach the link to my GitHub repository:
https://github.com/Ale22pic/REFV2006...in/CylinderRAS I'm doing a RANS simulation with Spalart model. The solver that I use is rhoEnergyFoam, which is a solver which we implemented in OpenFOAM. The problem is that I'm arguing with the boundary condition since I'm using an O-grid mesh (where the cylinder diameter is 1 and the domain diameter is 40) since after a lot timestep the solution is still not stationary and the pressure coefficient on the cylinder is not constant in time. Could you please check my case and tell me where are the mistakes? Thank you so much, Alessio |
