How to use fvModels to generate air source in stirred tank

Hi everyone,
I am going through the CEMF multiphase tutorials available on their website. Here's the link to the particular one in question: https://www.cemf.ir/simulating-two-p...sing-openfoam/ I took a bit of an odd approach since I use OF9 and this tutorial is intended for OF7. I managed to update all the code properly and run the simulation just fine with the exception of the air injection through the "injection1" cell set. I have tried many different things over the past few hours to get it to work with OF9, but I keep getting warnings that say the source model is defined but not used, or it was expecting a scalar instead of a vector (when using semiImplicitSource, even though the OF7 version of this model seemed to be capable of handling vectors). Does anyone have suggestions of how to implement an air source in this tutorial using OF9? I literally just want to define air at ambient properties being injected into the tank at a certain velocity or a certain volume rate, whatever is possible. I found it very difficult to come across any information pertaining to fvModels, so if anyone has reference documentation on this to supplement their answer, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

you can try injection tutorial that located at
Code:
/opt/openfoam9/tutorials/multiphase/multiphaseEulerFoam/laminar/injection Last edited by Ahyar; May 4, 2022 at 00:51. |
