Dear Foamers,
I've been simulating a gas atomizer using compressibleInterFoam and have been getting the same error "Negative initial temperature T0" for days. Depending on my adjustments on the fvSchemes and BCs the simulation can run for at most several times e-5 s, but never beyond that. My sketch for the geometry and the 1e-6 s image for velocity are attached. Similar settings I've tried produced similar results. The gas inlet velocity is set to be ~10m/s. Somehow the velocity explodes to several hundred meters, which doesn't make any sense. I think the abnormal velocity caused the abnormal temperature so the key is the velocity? Does anyone have any idea what may be the cause of this issue? Thanks in advance, Solomon |
