Hello All,

I'm opening this thread as a last resort to solve the issue with potentialFoam with 2006 and 2012 versions.

I have to openfoam versions, both installed correctly with allias in bashrc so on.

Regarding Potential Flow problems, I try to solve Cylinder and pitzdaily tutorails but I got the similar problem that have no solution. (Meshing is good but no 1 file)

When I look at log.potentialFoam what I see is (I change directory with b.... so it is good)

Code:

Create time

Create mesh for time = 0

potentialFlow: Operating solver in PISO mode

Reading velocity field U

Constructing pressure field p

Constructing velocity potential field Phi

No MRF models present

Calculating potential flow

as this problem occurs in both versions, I strongly believe it is my system that cause the issue, but I couldn't find a fix.

If you have any idea about the origin of the flaw and possible fix, thanks in advance
