I noticed that openfoam software is provided by two different organisations
1. ESI group
2. OpenFOAM foundation.
My doubt is if the cases are set based on the version provided by openfoam foundation can be used for ESI group.

Pardon my candidness but your question is depicting lack of effort and laziness... natural counter-questions would be: Firstly, do you have ESI development operational on your system? If yes, have you given it a shot? Did you run into issues with interchangeability? Why not post those (if any) issues?
On a slightly charitable note, the developments are 'largely' interchangeable in operation apart from few/rare syntactical differences but obviously have differences in development (additional solvers, discretization algorithms, etc.); both of which could generally be debugged/troubleshooted via output error messages.

Dear fresty,

Thanks for your reply. It is not because of laziness I tried what you said. I run cases now both version and check the results.
Previously I was using openfoam 4.0, a friend suggested ESI version is better for heat transfer analyses. So I just want to know others opnion also in case of shifting.
Also in recent times I noticed the same cases while running ESI version was good while resulted in error in foundation version.

Especially when I consider the effect of gravity in bouyant(boussinesq)simplefoam.
