Holes in mesh between transition levels

I have a problem regarding a mesh. If I write in snappyHexMesh the same level of refinement (min and max):
level (6 6); everything is fine (see first image). If otherwise I write: level (5 6); I have some holes between the transitions from level 5 to level 6 (see 2nd image). Anyone knows why this happens? Is there a parameter of snappyHexMesh that I can change to solve this issue? I have tried a lot, but anything seems working. I attach the snappyHexMesh file. Thanks for the help. |

Hi,
we came across the same issue. We haven't resolved it completely, but increasing nRelaxIter seems to reduce the bumps at the transition between levels. Did you or anyone else find other settings that impact this? |
