Installation problem of turbinesFoam/NREL/SOWFA in OpenFoam 1906

Dear Foamers,

I am trying to install the turbinesFoam (or and NREL/SOWFA) but it is not installing and throwing errors like:
vOptions/crossFlowTurbineALSource/crossFlowTurbineALSource.C: In member function ‘virtual void Foam::fv::crossFlowTurbineALSource::addSup(Foam::f vMatrix<Foam::Vector<double> >&, Foam::label)’:
fvOptions/crossFlowTurbineALSource/crossFlowTurbineALSource.C:575:17: error: ambiguous overload for ‘operator*=’ (operand types are ‘Foam::volVectorField {aka Foam::GeometricField<Foam::Vector<double>, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh>}’ and ‘int’)

I am trying to install this along with my existing OpenFoam 1906. Just wondering that in the github for the NREL/SOWFA, it's mentioned that Required OpenFOAM Version: 2.3.x or 2.4.x
Is this creating an issue?Any help/comment is highly welcomed. Thanks!

I don't know about NREL/SOWFA but was able to compile turbinesFoam on OpenFOAM 2012.
