Hey Foamers,

The purpose of my project is to build a wall film on a geometry to allow the lagrangian solver in use to simulate particle-film interaction. The part (for now) is a plate with a slight curved contour.

Upon executing extrudeToRegion, I get

Code:
Zone wallFilmFaces has boundary faces
extrudePatch : faces:41760 points:41934 edges:83694

Adding coupling patches:

patchID	patch	type
-------	-----	----
41	wallFilmFaces_top	patch
42	region0_to_wallFilmRegion_wallFilmFaces	mappedWall
Added 2 inter-region patches.

Adding coupling patches:

patchID	patch	type
-------	-----	----
41	wallFilmFaces_top	patch
42	region0_to_wallFilmRegion_wallFilmFaces	mappedWall
Added 2 inter-region patches.

Adding patches for sides on zones:

patchID	patch
-------	-----
Added 0 zone-side patches.

Adding inter-zone patches:

patchID	patch
-------	-----
Added 0 inter-zone patches.

Adding processor or cyclic patches:

patchID	patch
-------	-----
Added 0 coupled patches.

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
problem : my edge:(0 1) in master points:(0 1) v.s. masterEdgeVerts:2{2147483647}

    From function void Foam::globalMeshData::calcGlobalEdgeOrientation() const
    in file meshes/polyMesh/globalMeshData/globalMeshData.C at line 1205.

FOAM exiting

I don't quite understand the error with the master points and masterEdgeVerts even after going through the source. Any ideas?

Best,
Mustafa
