Greetings!
Im using cyclicAMI to validate a paper which uses interfaces to merge non conformal mesh zones. Across the interface, I observe a jump in the velocity. Are there any settings within cyclicAMI which can be tweaked to solve this problem? I have attached an image of the velocity contours on which the mesh is superimposed and the have plotted the velocity jump across the interface. |

Hi,Rho!
I am facing the similar problem. I am doing a case of pitching hydrofoil by AMI. When the internal mesh is rotating, the velocity of fluid is also rotating. It is not continued in the interface. I dont know how to solve it. Do you have any ideas? Thanks! |

Hi Mowei,
Could you superimpose the mesh on the contour? In my experience, the magnitude of the jump can be reduced by ensuring that there is no abrupt change in the mesh on either side of the interface |

Hi Rho,
Thank you for your reply! I have solved the problem. In the boundary files, I changed the 'transform' option from rotation to noOrdering. |
