syntex is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I tried a simulation for a propeller and used an actuator disk method.
In OpenFoam I used the class RotorDisc, so that I can add Torwue or Thrust to teh flow through fvOptions. This class however needs very detailed informations on the propeller (cl, cd, for different angle of attacks and exact geometry).
For my propeller I have only data about the thrust/torque at different rpm.
So I changed the code to calculate the thrust/torque per cell and add those forces to the flow. The result doesnt look good.

Has anyone any idea how to better use an actuator disc only having thrust and torque as data?
