restart for dynamicMesh case

Dear Foamers
I am running unsteady simulation of cavitation flow with dynamicMesh. What I am doing is start with running a steady case thousands of iterations to get a converged solution, then move the results to 0 directory and run pimpleDyMFoam by setting startFoam to startTime and startTime to 0. After say 0.1sec. I stop the simulation, run with interPhaseChangeDyMFoam and change the StartTime to 0.1. The thing is after running to 0.2sec and getting periocity. I stop case and restart with StartTime to 0.2. But seems the simulation is not properly restarted. What I have gotten is not the continued time advancing but more looks like starting from the beginning and experience some “starting procedure” but not periodic feature at least from force monitoring. Can anyone give some suggestions? Yours Wei |
