Hello everyone,
I wanted to make row circular seven cylinder using blockMesh, so what I thought is to make one cylinder and then mirror it multiple times. For seven cylinder I have to define more than 100 points in xy plane plus same number of points for extrusion in z-direction. This makes it very difficult to monitor each point for creating blocks and patches. To make this difficult job easy, mirroring is good idea and I'm able to do it. But problem is that after mirroring the mesh I have two cylinders with same names. I want to give both the cylinder as different names, say cylinder-1 and cylinder-2. But I don't know how to do that. I have gone through following link but that is for parallel planes. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...g-patches.html Please anyone help me for this. I have posted this question on main CFD forum but I didn't got reply, so I'm posting it again here. Thanks I have attached picture for reference. Screenshot from 2018-09-20 22-11-07.jpg |
