Dear all!
I would like to simulate air flow around a rotating blade with "disk diameter"/"airfoil chord"=6 and rpm=200 by using OpenFOAM. I am totally new with this solver (but not in CFD). I was wondering which one of the sample tutorials is appropriate for starting point. Seems to be more convenience to consider the SRFPimpleFoam module. Am I right? Any thing else you may want to say to a beginner in this regard? Thanks for your help. Cheers |

Hi,
You need to specify your problem better. Compressible/ Incompressible? Stationary/ Time-dependent? Full 360 degree rotation or just one blade with cyclic conditions? Rotating mesh?
