I am new and the problem I'm running into is that there seems to be no one optimal workflow for OF.
Seems like everyone's using a mixture of FreeCAD, Sketchup, Salome, Salome Meca, Gmsh, Helyx OS, OnShape, Blender and so forth My question is What is the optimal free software/workflow for OpenFoam? Is Salome or Blender powerful enough to create complex CAD or should I use OnShape then Salome to watertight geometry then move to Gmsh for better mesh. Should I start my case with free version of Helyx then edit it from there. guess I'm looking for the best way to do this so I don't waste time fiddling with all these different software's. |
