Hi everyone,
I have been struggling with a problem for sometime now. I need to locally refine my mesh. To do this: 1) I define a cell zone for the region of interest (to be refined) 2) I use refineMesh I have a mesh which is made of tets. I have realized that refinMesh does not work for any type of cells but hexs. Am I correct? Would you suggest any other way of doing this? Thanks for your help! |

I am not sure. But I encounter similar problems when using non-hex meshes. Try another mesher, such as snappyHexMesh, and refine the castellated mesh before procedding to the snapping routine. Other workarounds are also possible. |
