Hi all

I'm now doing a simulation about shockwave created by a tube, and want to observe the variation of density field,so I add density function to sonicFoam solver,to see data image more clearly in paraView I want to change the density of internal field. but it seemed can't work, even if I change the viscosity or change the 0 directory. I have searched the solution of this problem in open foam WiKi and other websites ,it's still can't solved. so I really someone can give me some tips, thanks a lot!

Hi all

To solve this problem that can't Change initial density,I'm going to add a new density field into sonicFoam solver, but I can't find createFields.H file, and even can't find applications folder ,is it because I using Mac system? can anyone tell me how to find it? thanks a lot!

Hi all

It's a good news that I have found the ceateFields.H file in Mac version OpenFOAM.
And to create a new density field I added Oobject::MUST_READ,IObject::AUTO_WRITE into createFields.H file,but after calculated it's still can't read from rho file of 0 dictionary.so can anyone tell me how do I compile to change the initial density field.thanks a lot!
