How to use OpenFOAM to simulate welding process

Recently,I want to use OpenFOAM to simulate welding process,such as weld pool fluid,heat transfer.And I want to use VOF method to track solid/liquid interface.Anyone come across such a project?I hope we can communicate with each other!
