Hello everyone.This is my first thread.Ive been trying to simulate flow over a cylinder with a front splitter plate.I created a block inside the main flow domain to define the plate..I have few issues..One is that the plate is not moving and second..I am getting a drag coeffient of 500..really unrealistic values..
I am attaching the required case files here..Please help..I will be indebted..

Dear Jonas,

I believe you have set zero-gradient for velocity on {cylinder,plate}.Is that what you really want ?

It should actually be:

"cylinder|plate"
{
type fixedValue;
value uniform (0 0 0);
}
