Default particle velocity field from twoPhaseEulerFoam when particle volume fraction is low

Hello,

In twoPhaseEulerFoam, when the particle volume fraction is very low, less than the residual alpha, the particle velocity field is very strange. I did a test with zero particle volume fraction, there is only gas flow. In this case, I can get the same particle velocity field as that for the particle. This is not right, is it? The particle velocity should be zero everywhere.
