Hi,
can you share how do you do FSI / co-simulation? I have just found http://carat.st.bv.tum.de/caratusers....php/Users:FSI http://carat.st.bv.tum.de/caratusers...I/CouplingCode of course there is mpcci :-) |

The FOAM-FSI project you mentioned uses foam-extend 3.2 for both solid and fluid and preCICE for the coupling.
Recently, preCICE got an official OpenFOAM adapter, which currently supports conjugate heat transfer, but is easily extensible to other problems and it should be able to support any solver. Mechanical fluid-structure interaction is a planned extension and it would be very useful if you wrote a comment on what you would like to see it supporting in the respective GitHub issue! :-) |
