Calculation of flow rate in Openfoam

hello guys,
I am using OpenFoam-2.3.1, and I need to calculate the mass flow rate at inlet and outlet. Please can anybody explain how to do that and to insert the code in control dict. Thank you Bharadwaj |

You may use the patchAverage or patchIntegrate post processing tools for that.

I don't have much experience with compressible media. But you should get the velocity components and the mass density, from which you may calculate the mass flow rate.
