Max0139 is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I am new to OpenFoam and I am interested in doing my own DSMC simulations. I have done some of the tutorials given by OpenFoam and even made my own geometries and simulated them. I noticed that the simulation "endTime" in the "controlDict" (not the time required to perform the simulation) is very short, ranging from 1e-3 to 2e-2 seconds. My question: Why is the endTime of the simulation so short? Would it be better to simulate for longer periods of time?

Kind regards,

Max
