Hello everyone. I am currently using the particle tracing module in COMSOL to simulate solid particle (micro and nano particles) flow in a micro channel. However, the particles are not physical (they do not displace the fluid in the channel). I wanted to know if OpenFOAM can solve this issue. Moreover, I also need to incorporate forces viz. drag, buoyancy, gravity, electrostatics, particle-wall and particle-particle collisions. I have started some tutorials on OpenFOAM and currently running OpenFOAM in Windows. Alternatives also include CFDEM/LIGGGHTS but I think Ubuntu version is suitable for those couplings and not windows. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards T. Roy |
