I have started working on openfoam very recently, I need to simulate fluid flow of a axial in radial out pump and I'm have tremendous problems with boundary conditions..
**Especially fvsolution and MRFproperties. ** Also I have just one rotating patch around and including impeller. I'm not even sure how to use MRF properly to rotate the impeller body. When I try to simulate (delta t=1; writetime=5; total time=10) Folder 0 & 5 have simulated values but folder 10 is completely filled of 'nan'.. It gives an error in paraview saying "Expected a number instead of a character n".. Also is it possible that one I simulate all the 3 volume bodies separately and then somehow join them together? I could do that since original mesh is in ICEM anyway. Please help.. I'm open to any suggestions that might be even remotely useful. Sent from my Lenovo A7010a48 using CFD Online Forum mobile app |
