Hi,

I'm having a problem with the NonlinearKEShih in OF240, with a case that runs fine on OF222 (I'm having to use OF240 on a particular computer due to Nvidia driver issues and having to use Ubuntu 16.04).

The problem is that there seems to be a mistake in the patch field verification for this model in that it says the the epsilon wall function in the epsilon file is not valid for wall patches...

Here's the error message:

should be zeroGradient

FOAM exiting

One can recreate this by taking the explicit angled duct tutorial case for porousSimpleFoam, running the tutorial with the pre-configured KE model, then switching the RAS properties from "KEpsilon" to "NonlinearKEShih" and adding the following line to the fvSchemes "divSchemes" section:

div(nonlinearStress) Gauss cubic;

By forcing my case to run with the zeroGradient BC on a wall patch it will eventually cause the residuals to go nuts.

Any hints on a quick fix?
