minimum fluidization velocity(Umf) with DPMFoam

Hi,
I am simulating a fluidized bed with DPMFoam solver, at first I want to calculate Umf , I used wall boundary condition for all of the boundary except inlet and outlet, but calculated Umf is very different with ergun equation result, and when I change my 2 boundaries to symmetry, the result become closer, but in my mind, boundary shouldn't affect Umf. |
