Hello ,

Is it possible to configure in OpenFOAM (blockMesh, snappyHexMesh) the origin of the coordinate system ? I would like for example to set the origin where my measuring instrument ( a radar ) is installed.

Many thanks,
Daniel

While writing the blockMeshDict file, one specifies the point coordinates. You can put the radar at (0,0,0) and define all other points relative to it.

Or you could use transformPoints to translate your mesh in a way that your measuring instrument is at the origin.
