governing equations for 2D axisymmetrical problem in OpenFOAM

Hello,
I know for the 2D axisymmstrical problem, we should generate a wedge with an angle less than 5 degree. Then we should use the boundary conditions of "Wedge" as suggested in https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/M...s/AxiSymmetric However, one thing I do not understand is, in the above situation, what kind of governing eqaution will we solve? Cylindrical or Cartersian? How does OpenFOAM calculate the numerical fluxes (for the convection and diffusion) on the "wedge" boundaries? Thank you so much. |
