dear Foamers,
I'm quite out of space in my ssd disk of my laptop by now. So I would often have the need to try/run/visualize some cases on an external USB I have, but which unfortunately is recognized as TOSHIBA EXT by the system, with a whitespace in the name! For more convenience, there is someone who, modifying just the needed some files as fileName.H or resorting to other (linux) tricks, could make somehow OF digest also these names strings with whitespaces without errors of the type "fileName::stripInvalid() called for invalid fileName /var/run/media/cfd/TOSHIBAEXT/propeller/..."? Any suggestion? |

Hi,
Wouldn't a symbolic link work? E.g. from your home dir: Code:
ln -s "/mnt/your long/drive/with space in the name" ./extdriveNoSpace Nicolas |
