Hi there,
Very new to OpenFoam.. I want to import a model from autocad to make it easier to create the geometry/mesh. How can I import this file into the simulation? I believe i have to save as .stl file. Where/how do I put this into the source file? How can i easily assign boundary conditions to the faces? I.e. if there were thousands of faces, without having to go through the individual faces, point numbers, right hand rule etc... Please help!!!! I want to import a model of a beach section with bathymetry, so almost everything will be zerogradient condition, but there will be MANY faces |

You need to create a mesh your solver can use. You should look into the tutorials on how to use snappyHexMesh or use a commercial meshing software.
