Dear CFD Forum users,
I'm new to this forum and intend to use it a lot. I have a +10 years experience with CFD, so hopefully I can also give something in return. I have searched the CFD forum for the location where to most posts where regarding the use of Dakota and I ended up in this section. Frankly, I have two questions: 1.) Is there still such a thing as a GUI for Dakota? With google, I do find information about Jaguar 3.0, but it is apparently not available anymore as download. 2.) What is the best way to get familiar with dakota? To be honest, the user manual and the reference manual is very intuitive... For example, I try to start a MOGA optimisation with a LHS start sample, but I cannot find it anywhere how to do this... Thank you very much! Best regards, Bowen |

Hi Bowen,
ad 1) Recently, I am also interested in coupling Dakota and OpenFOAM. The information I have found is, that the Jaguar GUI is not available with the latest Dakota version anymore. Unfortunately, I did not find any information if this will change in the (near) future. ad 2) I am still working on that as well. Probably you have already found some tutorials yourself ... if not, here are two links I found very helpful: http://www.wolfdynamics.com/tutorial...tutorials.html http://www.holzmann-cfd.de/index.php...-one-way-valve Best regards Harald |
