Hi All,
I am running particle laden non-reacting flows with twoPhaseEulerFoam from OF3.0.1. The maximum volume fraction is located at the particle injector, which is about 0.00011. I think for the whole domain, the volume fraction at each point cannot be larger this value. However, from the output. I think the maximum volume fraction is greater than 0.00013. Please see as below: ============= MULES: Solving for alpha.particles MULES: Solving for alpha.particles smoothSolver: Solving for alpha.particles, Initial residual = 8.54808217e-19, Final residual = 4.77975917e-20, No Iterations 1 alpha.particles volume fraction = 1.66126095e-08 Min(alpha.particles) = -2.86705823e-209 Max(alpha.particles) = 0.000130570829 Constructing momentum equations min T.particles 299.999896 min T.air 300 GAMG: Solving for p_rgh, Initial residual = 0.00929055683, Final residual = 5.91928124e-07, No Iterations 2 GAMG: Solving for p_rgh, Initial residual = 0.000105164517, Final residual = 1.30719335e-06, No Iterations 1 ============= Is there any problem for this maximum volume fraction (0.000130570829), when at the particle inlet alpha = 0.00011 ? |
