Hello everybody,
I have a complex mesh, and I'm trying to compute Wetted perimeter on inlet. This would be a cross-section of my inlet-patch with all other patches that intersect it. If my patch was a cylinder, than the w.perimeter would be it's circumference. Since it's impossible to do this analytically for my mesh, I was wondering if anybody has an idea how to get it? I know how to compute patch areas, but this is different. Does anybody have any idea how to do it? In OF terms, this would be sum of all lines on the inlet patch. Is there an app for this? If I had to write an app, what would be the best way? Loop trough all points for "inlet" and add the length? Thank you!

I did it using ensight, as described in the other thread!
