Dear foamers,
I am simulating a free-propagating flame in a square domain. I have an inlet and outlet boundary conidtion in the x direction. Orthogonally to the flame, the boundaries are set to be cyclic. By using a RANS approach i can manage to stabilize the flame inside the domain. However, when using LES the flame just blows off. A solution to my problem would be to move the whole domain at the same speed specified in inlet. I looked on the forum and didn`t really find something for solving my problem. I think it would just require to move the mesh by translation. Being a really simple geometry i don`t think it is too difficult. Do you have any ideas on how to perform this moving domain ? Thank you in advance. Kind regards, David |
