Hi everybody!
I am picking up ConnClark's post from the 'Car aerodynamics' thread: Quote:
I think its good to have one thread specifically related to the DrivAer model, which in my opinion, will be the next standard benchmark test for external car aerodynamic simulation. I am happy to share my experience, questions etc here. Cheers, Florian |

Hello Florian,
I was searching for a car geometry to simulate in Openfoam. I found the Drivaer model(.stl file) and I downloaded the model after submitting a request. I was going to use snappyHexmesh to simulate the flow. But I got some sort of error when I tried to visualise the .stl file in Paraview before meshing it(I opened the body_closed file in the .stl zip file). Could you please help me out on how to use the Drivaer model in Openfoam? Thank you Vicky |
