Hey guys,
I'm working on XiFOAM for premixed flame modeling and I had a few questions regarding the turbulence model used (K-epsilon Launder Sharma). When the variables are initialized in the OpenFOAM example, the value for turbulence viscosity (mut), turbulence thermal diffusivity (alphat) is given as 0. Whereas k and epsilon are initialized with values. Can someone please explain why these values are initialized as 0? It would really help as I'm trying to figure a lot of it out on my own (XiFOAM has very little documentation). Thanks in advance. |
