Sample Surface elevation in time

I'm trying to sample the free surface elevation in a case similar to the sloshing tank 6dof in the official tutorials.
For now I'm using the sampleDict to sample the data of field alpha1 on a line with fixed x,y and variable z coordinates, and after I have to interpolate the data to find the z where the alpha1=0.5 with some code writed by myself, and I have to do it with all the time step. I' would like to know if there's another utility or another manner ( more simple ) to do it. |
