I have set up a very simple interFoam problem, all is well when I set zeroGradient for alpha1 on my wall of interest. But when I change the BC type to constantAlphaContactAngle, the simulation will diverge no matter what value I set. (even with 45, which I believe is the default value).

Are there any considerations I am neglecting while setting up a problem of this type?

bc1377036309125_nozzle
{
type constantAlphaContactAngle;
limit alpha;
theta0 45;
value nonuniform List<scalar>

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best,
Matt

Hi,

i think that more info are needed to give you and help. For example which kind on BC you have on the other fields (p_rgh and U) and what does it mean that your simulation diverge? Post here the last output of your log file.

best
