Dear All,

I am trying to simulate a 2D case: the flow around an airfoil.

Here you can find the case: could you try to solve it? I get some errors, both in the laminar and in the turbulent case. Could anyone help, please?

Thanks a lot,
Samuele

A flow which is meaningless!

Have you tried it?

Yes I have. I don't like the looks of the boundary conditions you have.

How can you not have an inlet and an outlet? It's all 'farfield'.

The inlet should be the arc and then you can leave the outlet as top, bottom and the backwards panel.

Also, since you're using simpleFoam, there's no need to enter a value for pressure. It's shouldn't make a difference as the flow is incompressible.

1- Don't put spaces in the file name. In fact, never put spaces in file names when using unix/linux, it would save you a lot of hassle.

2- Are you sure that the OpenFOAM executables are loaded in the PATH? i.e. can you run any other commands?
