Dear Associates,

I tried to create username and pass word for CFDEM community. but I'm unable to do it. I didn't receive any mail from community to confirm my identity and continue to access the content of the community

I'm very much in need of a open source software capable of DEM simulation

can any one of you help me in this regard

Sincerely,
Phanindra

Hi,

OpenFOAM also has DEM capability. Did you look into it?

Hi,

Try tutorials/discreteMethods to see if these will be useful to you.

Good luck!

Some slightly outdated information, but will give you some inspiration to search further is located at

If you look at the OpenFOAM lagrangian solvers, glance through
  • coalChemistryFoam
  • reactingParcelFilmFoam
  • icoUncoupledKinematicParcelDyMFoam
  • reactingParcelFoam
  • icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam (Probably the most interesting for you)
  • sprayFoam
  • LTSReactingParcelFoam
  • uncoupledKinematicParcelFoam
  • porousExplicitSourceReactingParcelFoam

Also search for "parcels" "clouds" with "openfoam", you will get plenty of results
