I'm trying to run the forward step tutorial with rhoCentralFoam but in non-normalised form. To achieve this I tried to change some settings
in thermophysical dictionary for air as: cp=1.006 molWeight= 28.97 since the adiabatic index for air is 1.4 then with: Cp=ghama*nMol*R/(ghama-1)/molWeight one would have: nMol=0.001 for a normal condition in initial conditions also T=273, U=990 ( to have Ma=3) and to have rho=1.2 from P=rho*R*T/molWeight would yield p=94022 in an inviscid flow characteristic length is not important, but the angles and proportions so no modification is needed on geometry. After setting all these you can't have a run. Can anyone please tell me why? |

Have you tried cp = 1006 J/(kg-K) and nMoles = 1 ?
