Hi to everyone! I'd really want to know what this expression means:

fvsPatchField<scalar>& phip =
patch().lookupPatchField<surfaceScalarField, scalar>("phi");

Does it perhaps mean that it is created a new scalar field called phip, taking the value of the variable phi only on the patch on which this boundary condition is applied?

Thanks
Simone

Yes, that appears to be the meaning. http://foam.sourceforge.net/docs/cpp...e90006616716d7
